Our 2023 Summer Hero’s
Meet Makani and Kanoa,
Our 6-year-old entrepreneurs participated in Lemonade Day Lomita on July 22nd. These two worked their hearts out this summer to share with our community. Their baseball-themed lemonade stand “Take Me Out to the Lemonade Stand!” featured a delicious Ballpark lemonade, Grand Slam Lemonade, baseball gum, cracker jacks, and peanuts! With their slogan, “Keep your eye on the lemonade!”, Makani and Kanoa made a total profit of $4,278! Profits were thoughtfully split evenly between Makani, Kanoa, and the Casa Bella Foundation. In total, Makani and Kanoa donated $1,426 to the Casa Bella Foundation.
Makani and Kanoa’s donations will help sponsor our 2023 Back to School Uniform Drive where Casa Bella will work to help local families in need this back to school season! Makani and Kanoa are genuine inspirations and have shown us the true meaning of having a generous heart!
Meet Steve and Valerie,
Our dedicated volunteers, Steve and Valerie, have been integral members of the Casa Bella Foundation for many years. They consistently offer their unwavering support and contribute in any way they can to give back to our cause. Valerie, who is pictured on the right, is always seen with a warm smile and a willingness to go above and beyond to help others. Her kindness and radiance are truly remarkable. If you're familiar with Steve and Valerie, you'll understand the depth of their generosity.
Recently, while assisting with the setup of our lemonade stand, Steve and Valerie approached us with a heartfelt donation. They handed us a generous check for $1,000 to support the Casa Bella Foundation. The impact this contribution will have on numerous students this school year is immeasurable. They will additionally serve as a beacon of hope for single mothers with three children and families living paycheck to paycheck who are searching for a guardian angel to answer their prayers. Steve and Valerie have not only earned their angel wings through their selfless actions but continue to ensure that everyone, especially the children, are well taken care of.
