Our Intercity Programs:

Mother Baby Inquiry

Our Mother Baby Inquiry here at Casa Bella Foundation is a year round program and operation in which women in need inquire with Casa Bella with their struggles and needs. This includes single mothers, young mothers, young families, and families in need. There is no prerequisites in order to inquire. We help mothers and fathers on their feet or give them a Baby Bundle to relief needs of the baby in order for them to focus on putting food on the table. Our baby bundles consist of basic baby necessities such as bottles, diapers, formula, bibs, lotions, and soaps.

Educational Programs

One of our favorite programs at Casa Bella is hosting educational workshops and programs for families, and children. Seasonal events may include a fun music event with a highlighted musician host, or an opportunity to feel the normality of family events. Hosting an Easter bunny photo session for children or pictures with Santa. The spectrum of our educational workshops include learning how to make an at home water filtration system, reusing items, and survival guides, to having fun with Santa. These workshops are hosted for the general public to inquire and attend.

Guatemalan Sanctuary

In addition to funding our intercity programs. One of Casa Bella’s first mission and goals is to open up a sanctuary in Guatemala. Casa Bella has selected Guatemala as a place of sanctuary amongst other locations as poverty in Guatemala is more prevalent as resources are not as widely available or relative for a worker that makes less than minimum wage in the United States. 49% of children in Guatemala are malnourished and in indigenous areas that percentage skyrockets to 70% — 1 of every 4 infants born won’t make it to their first birthday due to malnutrition. For this reason we maintain a 70% to our intercity and 20% of donations to our Guatemalan Sanctuary. Most of these donations are given on a basis of Rescue Bundles for family that are hungry weekly, and special projects like roof renovation and toys.

Emergency Food & Clothing

Malnutrition not only damages physical and cognitive development in children but can also lead to poor school performance, and future income reduction. Casa Bella prioritizes feeding the children, and women with children. We use funding, and donations to feed those in our sanctuary as well as programs around our city to keep our children, and families in the proper conditions for a bright future. It is through our rescue bundles that we are able to carry out our mission at Casa Bella Foundation to insure that no child goes hungry. Our Rescue bundles include food and produce to feed and relief a family of 4 for one to two weeks.

Recreational Enrichment

Our idea is to fund and keep after school programs a priority because a reoccurring pattern we have seen is that the parents are not able to properly provide for their children because they are working and trying to make a living. Providing a safe-haven through our sanctuary and events here throughout our city, for children to learn while their parents are focusing on a career is a priority for Casa Bella. In addition to after-school events we hope to fund classrooms for at least 300 students and children through this program.
